CTET 2019 Exam Centers; Check Complete List of Test Cities

CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has scheduled CTET 2019 for July 7, 2019 in offline mode. The test will be conducted in two shifts in 97 cities all over the country. Last day to register for CTET Exam is March 5, 2019

Latest: CBSE has added 4 and 6 exam centers to Assam and Bihar respectively. Check Here 

  • Registrants can download their CTET Admit Card from ctet.nic.in. 
  • Candidates have to mention their preferred exam center while filling CTET Application Form.
  • Once the preference is submitted, candidates cannot change it. Hence, it is advisable to consider the options carefully before applying.

CTET Exam Pattern comprises 2 papers – Paper 1 for Classes I to V (Primary Stage) and Paper II for Classes VI to VIII (Elementary Stage). The schedule for each paper in CTET Exam is tabulated below:

CTET Exam Center 2019 Highlights

  • One exam city can have multiple exam centers of CTET.
  • The center once allotted to the candidates will not be changed under any circumstances.
  • All candidates will have to select 3 exam centers of their choice at the time of online registration/ application form.
  • CBSE reserves the right to allot, add and cancel the exam centers of CTET 2019.
  • In case the number of candidates in any of the notified city is very less, the Board at its discretion may not conduct the examination in that city.
  • Candidate who opted that city as first choice may be allotted examination center in other city opted as second and third choice.

CTET 2019 Exam Day Instructions

Immediately after downloading CTET 2019 Admit Card, candidates must verify the particulars mentioned on admit card.

  • Candidates would not be allowed to enter the examination hall after the specified time is over.
  • Candidates must not forget to carry their admit card of CTET along the photo ID the exam centre alloted them
  • Candidates must not carry anything else apart from the CTET Admit Card and Photo ID to the exam centre.
  • Candidtes found practicing unfair means during the examination will be disqualified.
  • They can take water bottles to the exam centre, however, the bottles should be transparent.
  • No eatables or liquids or electronic items are allowed inside the examination hall.
  • There should not be items in candidates pockets like pieces of paper, etc or else they will be disqualified.
  • Candidates can only take basic analogue watch to the examination hall.
  • Candidates have to stay in the examination hall for the complete time duration of the CTET Exam. Even if the exam is oy have completed the test, they will not be permitted to leave the examination centre.
  • Items like books/registers/magazines/notepads are not allowed in the exam hall.
